Spine Program
Patients from around the region are referred to VCU Health because of our understanding of and treatments for spinal conditions and injuries. We have a long history of specialty care associated with complicated spine diagnoses, and our physicians have perfected the techniques for treating neurodegenerative condition (which worsen over time) and traumatic spine disease.
We perform procedures to reconstruct the spine after disease, replace ruptured discs, and reconstruct major spine injuries. With the latest technologies available, including minimally invasive and computer-assisted treatment, our physicians have made spinal surgery safer and more effective.
